PW BUILDERS – OUR HISTORY
More than 30 years’ experience
PW Builders was started by Paul Wilkins, an ex-marine, who retrained in all aspects of the building trade after leaving the services.
He spent five years learning the carpentry trade at Poole Joinery, and then worked in the double glazing industry, where he became experienced not only in fitting uPVC windows, but also fascias, soffits, guttering and conservatories.
Having built up a number of years’ experience working for reputable south coast companies, Paul decided to form his own company where he could use his skills in a more creative way. PW Builders take an holistic approach and like to work on projects from start to finish. They have worked on renovations and refurbishments, new builds and extensions, as well as many different home improvement projects.
PW Builders are equally at home building, decorating and landscaping and have built patios, ponds, laid decking and driveways, constructed fences, gates and car ports. One of their specialities is planting and maintaining the perfect lawn, and they are now City and Guilds PA1 and PA6 Accredited in the use of specialist weedkillers and lawn treatments.
